Her father's darling and the joy of the family. She was ahead of her peers in her intelligence and wit. This was her first year in the first grade. The last time we heard her voice was the night she was killed; she told us she had a cold and the flu. Zainab was killed with her entire family, along with 20 other martyrs, in the Hassouna family massacre in Shuja'iyya.
