Rami Wael Na'im

The child martyr Rami Wael Na'im: He fled from death toward death! Rami Wael Na'im, a child displaced from Beit Hanoun, was playing football in the al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, like all the other children in the Strip who want to live in safety, free from colonialism and occupation. But the Israeli occupation fears Palestinian children and places them in its target bank. Therefore, the occupation targeted Rami and killed him as he was playing football in all innocence. The children in Gaza, like Rami, try to forget the shells and the death that awaits them with every missile that falls on their heads. Rami was trying to forget the missiles, to play for a little while, to live out his lost childhood—and then Israel killed him.
