Razan Muhsin
Age 6 · Shuja'iyya neighborhood, Gaza
Razan Muhsin... a child whose body was ravaged by the war!
Razan was a 6-year-old girl from the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, with a story different from other children her age. She attended al-Khair kindergarten in Gaza, was dearly loved, and was in good health—all of this was before the war.
Two months after her family was displaced from Gaza to Deir al-Balah, Razan's ordeal began. Illnesses started to ravage her small body, her hair began to fall out, and she developed skin ulcers and chronic health symptoms. Her condition grew worse day by day.
In May 2024, her family took her to the American Hospital in Rafah. As the war on Rafah intensified, the situation became dangerous, and she was moved back to Al-Aqsa Hospital, suffering from malnutrition, blood clots, and many other symptoms.
Razan was like a rose, gentle and beautiful. She loved Molokhia and grilled meats. Her family tried to get approval for her to travel for treatment but, on November 7, 2024, Razan was killed, leaving behind pain and heartbreak in the hearts of all who knew her.
