Alaa al-Najjar

A martyr of childhood in Gaza! Alaa, like all the children of Gaza, had her dreams and ambitions, which were never allowed to grow due to the occupier's bombing. She was very smart and beloved by everyone. She was always laughing, and joy never left her face. She loved games and stories; she loved to read, draw, run, and play. Alaa was killed on December 26, 2023, at the age of nine, along with her sisters, Sara and Jana. She had been born during the 2014 war, and had lived through bombing, displacement, and the loss of her childhood.
