The child Zain... a martyr to hunger! The child Zain al-Drimili, with his small, frail body, was hungry while the world was overfed. He was afraid, while the "Arab" governments were at ease. He trembled in his father's arms, and the entire world saw it. Zain was killed because he was hungry. He was a small child who knew nothing of this world but shells, hunger, missiles, bombs, and threats. Zain was a child whose family watched him in the last days of his life, with no way to treat or feed him, amid a suffocating siege and the annihilation of both stone and people in the Strip.
