Yousef Majed Abu Jabal

"On April 20th of every year, we will keep our custom of lighting a candle for Yousef on his birthday, just as he loved. Every year we must celebrate him, and how could we not, when he was everything beautiful in our lives?" Yousef had big dreams. He was pure, beloved, and gentle, and everyone who knew him loved him. He loved to play a great deal, especially football, and he was the baby of the family. On November 4, 2023, the enemy bombed the area between his family's neighbors' houses. Yousef was in front of his house and was killed instantly, along with his brother and his cousin. This is how the occupation killed his childhood, destroyed his dreams and his future, and deprived his family of seeing him, just as it had deprived thousands of families before.
