Two weeks ago, on Saturday, December 23, I said goodbye to my mother, the apple of my eye and the core of my heart. Today, Saturday, January 6, I say goodbye to my own flesh and blood, my darling daughter Sidra. The eye weeps and the heart grieves, and we are saddened by their parting, but we say only what pleases God. We belong to God, and to Him we shall return.
Sidra was born on September 20, 2022, and the occupation killed her on January 6, 2024.
