Kinan Munir Tabash

Kinan was born and killed in the same month: he was born on the 11th of October and was killed on the 22nd of October. He was beautiful of face, fine in his ways, and sweet in his words. Everyone who knew him loved him and said that this child was beloved and noble. He would always tell me about Paradise. I used to think he was a small child who had simply heard the word from someone. He would always say: 'Paradise told me that is not right,' 'Paradise told me that is good.' And in the last period before his death, he would wake up in the morning, blow gently on my face, and say: 'I brought you a breeze from Paradise.'
