Sami Bilal Abu Yusuf

The child whom "Israel" did not allow to grow up! Sami was a child whose heart was full of dreams, butterflies, and hope. His teacher, Muhammad Abdallah al-Koumi, once told him he would be "a great person one day." This child, "Israel" killed him. He was 8 years old, in third grade at the Malaysian Quranic School; a principled child, a dreamer, gentle, with ambitions the world could not contain, and so he took flight toward the sky. He never hurt anyone. His heart was very good, and his nickname was "al-Mukhtar" because he used to resolve the disputes among his friends. Sami was a beloved child, he loved everyone and everyone loved him, and he dreamed of becoming a professional football player. He loved his homeland dearly, until he was killed on January 8, 2024, in the bombing of his home. He was killed alongside his brother Muhammad and his cousins Ubaida and Minna. He was gone, and his dreams went with him, like the rest of the children of Gaza.
