Wissam Khalil Hamdan

Wissam lived in the city of Khan Younis (in the town of al-Qarara) and was killed in Hamad city, west of Khan Younis, after the city, along with all its residents and displaced people, was besieged in January 2024. Wissam and her family had been displaced to her married sister's apartment. She was killed along with her four sisters, her sister's children, and her father, after the tower they were in was bombed with everyone inside. Wissam was a loyal, kind, and affectionate friend, as quiet as an angel. Everyone saw in her the makings of a compassionate doctor, like her father, the martyr Dr. Khalil Hamdan, who worked at Dar al-Salam Hospital. She was a diligent girl, beloved by her friends and everyone who knew her. Her face had a gracious quality that made her unforgettable to anyone who saw her.
