He loved food and enjoyed preparing it alongside his mother. As the eldest, he was the most attentive to his siblings, always protecting them. He was terrified of dying alone in a bombing. An hour before he was killed along with his grandfather and siblings, he was telling us how much he longed for the morning of the second day of Eid al-Fitr, so he could spend his holiday money on sweets whose taste they had missed for a year and a half. But in the end, there was no holiday money left, and no sweets melted in his mouth. Israel killed him with a missile that destroyed the house on top of everyone inside.
