Razan Muhaysin
Age 6 · Shuja'iyya neighborhood
Razan Muhaysin... a child whose body was devoured by the war!
Razan was a six-year-old girl from the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, with a story different from that of other children her age. She attended al-Khair kindergarten in Gaza, was very much loved, and was in perfect health. All of this was before the war.
Two months after her family was displaced from Gaza to Deir al-Balah, Razan's suffering began. Illnesses started to ravage her small body; her hair began to fall out, and she developed skin sores and chronic health symptoms. Her condition worsened day by day.
In May 2024, her family took her to the American Hospital in Rafah. As the war on Rafah intensified, the situation became dangerous, so she was moved back to al-Aqsa Hospital, where she suffered from malnutrition, blood clots, and many other symptoms.
Razan was like a rose, gentle and beautiful. She loved molokhia and grilled meat. Her family tried to get approval for her to travel for treatment, but on November 7, 2024, Razan was killed, leaving behind pain and sorrow in the hearts of all who knew her.
