Shahd was very affectionate, loved everyone, and was quiet. My best friend, you left too soon. You had dreams you wanted to achieve, and we used to plan our future, but I didn't know you would be gone and we wouldn't do everything we planned together. I miss you so much. You used to ask me what I would do if you died, and now I am dying while I'm still alive. The memories kill me a hundred times over. You used to tell me you wished to die a martyr, and so, my love, you departed as a martyr. May God have mercy on you. In our last call, a few days before you were killed, you told me: "Take care of yourself, say hello to your mom and to Aseel, and I love you."
