Her twin sister Karma and her mother were injured in the bombing of their home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.
Ibrahim al-Shatli, the director of the Al-Qattan Center in Gaza, said of her: "Tima, that gentle child who would wander and look closely at the children's books and stories around her. Her face is not easily forgotten. We would see her at the center, interpreting the pictures and telling her own story, not knowing that she would be the next story."
