Amal and Ayloul: The Martyrs of Childhood
"My beautiful twins, Amal with the golden hair, and Ayloul who looked just like me. After seven years of suffering, treatments, and IVF procedures, God blessed me with my two daughters, Amal and Ayloul."
Amal grew up. She overcame illness when she was little and had a head operation after she fell and suffered a brain fracture. She defied all this despite her young age and grew up.
Ayloul grew up, and on December 13th, she and her sister turned three. On December 18th, they were both killed in an Israeli bombing of a house on al-Wahda Street.
The occupation killed the two little girls. Hope (Amal) did not blossom from the child Amal, for "Israel" killed her. And the roses of September (Ayloul) did not bloom, for "Israel" killed her as well.
