We were displaced from Gaza to the al-Junayna neighborhood in Rafah, staying in the house of a colleague of mine from the agency. A week later, while we were sleeping at one in the morning, the house next to ours was bombed. My wife and I were injured, and our daughter, our beloved Maria, was killed instantly.
