The eye sheds its tear and the heart is heavy with grief, and we are so very sad for your parting, O delight of our eyes and core of our hearts. You were light of spirit, the smile of life, the daughter of my dear brother. You left us without a farewell, forcing us to part for a second time and to suffer anew the horrors of war and destruction. You have gone to be beside loved ones who went before you, and our hearts are still wrung with pain. But by the grace of God, we can only say, "To God we belong and to Him we shall return." May patience and solace be granted to her parents' hearts. Our meeting place will be in Paradise, God willing. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
