Karam, Farah, and Alma Mohammed Abu Hasira

My three children, Karam, Farah, and Alma, were killed in an instant. They were waiting for me to take them to the amusement park; I promised them I would when I returned to Gaza. Because of my work, I am away from Gaza for a whole month and come back for only four days. Those were the best four days of my life, which I spent with them, full of laughter, games, and every good thing. They were my entire life, but unfortunately, the joy and happiness are gone. There is no one happy in Gaza.
I was in a state of violent shock and lost my composure. I tried calling them and tried to tell myself that the news wasn't true, but unfortunately, several journalists confirmed it. I lost my composure completely and couldn't stand up at all. I raised my hands to the sky and prayed to God that they would be okay, that their injuries would be minor. I contacted journalists at al-Aqsa Hospital, as I know some of them and we are friends.
They sent me video clips of the latest casualties who had arrived at the hospital. I received videos of children and recognized the picture of my daughter, Alma. I knew it was her from the blouse she was wearing when she was killed. I said, "This is my daughter." Moments later, another video arrived that caused me a huge shock. It was my son, Karam. I told them, "This is my son." I collapsed completely after those two shocks.
