Mu'min Ahmad

Today is the birthday of my moon, my first joy. Today is the birthday of my heartbeat and my soul, my beloved and the light of my eyes. This is the day that made my world light and my life joyful. Today is the birthday of my firstborn child, Mu'min, the sweetest of all people. December 7, 2022, and December 7, 2023. Your departure, along with your mother's and your grandfather's, has pained me and left a wound in my heart that will never heal. My child Mu'min, the laughing, cheerful boy who smiled at everyone who held him. My child, I never saw anyone like him in his movements and his play. Every year, you will be the most beautiful of them all. Every year, you will be beside the beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Every year, you will be among the beloveds of God's messenger. Every year, you will be beside the martyrs and the truthful. Every year, you will be in God's gardens, enjoying His blessings and grace. Congratulations on your martyrdom, my son.
