Ahmed and Aseel Abu Asad

The twin martyrs, Ahmed and Aseel Abu Asad, were 12 years old and the youngest members of their family. Two days before they were killed, Ahmed went to the barber and had his hair styled, saying, "Even if I die, I want to look stylish and handsome."
Aseel was a quiet and shy girl who cared a great deal about her appearance, yet she was kind and gentle. Despite the difficult circumstances, she did not burden her father with expenses. If she had had the chance to grow up, she dreamed of studying fashion design or becoming a fashion influencer. She saved her pocket money but maintained her childish nature.
Ahmed, on the other hand, was full of life and energy. He loved to play football and dreamed of becoming a footballer. He would always play after returning from school. Their father encouraged them to study to succeed in the future. But today he regrets it, saying, "I didn't know Ahmed wouldn't grow up. I should have let him play as much as he always wanted."
They were killed along with their mother in an Israeli airstrike on October 21, 2023.
