Eileen Muhammad Nahed Hanoun
Age 7
My beautiful niece, six-year-old Eileen, was killed on October 25, 2023. Her entire family was killed with her: my sister Sahar, her husband Muhammad Hanoun, and Eileen's four siblings, Nahed, Wafaa, Celine, and Ahmed.
"And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." (Quran 3:169)
May our Lord accept them with the prophets, the righteous, and the martyrs. The eye weeps and the heart grieves, and we are truly saddened by your departure. We say only what pleases our Lord: "To God we belong and to Him we return."
We consider them martyrs in the eyes of God, and we do not commend anyone above God. May God's mercy be upon them, and may He grant us patience and solace, O Lord.
