Wafa' Muhammad Nahed Hannoun
Age 9
The beautiful child Wafa' Muhammad Nahed Hannoun, seven years old, was killed with her entire family on October 25, 2023.
“And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.”
May our Lord accept them with the prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs. The eye weeps, the heart grieves, and we are heartbroken by your separation. We say only what pleases our Lord: "To God we belong, and to Him we return."
My sister Sahar, her husband Muhammad Hannoun, and their five children were killed: Nahed, Wafa', Eileen, Celine, and Ahmed. We consider them martyrs before God, and we do not presume His judgment over anyone. May God's mercy be upon them, and may He grant us patience and solace, O Lord.
