Fahim Hasnin and his wife, the talented poet Muna al-Shamali, were killed along with their five daughters: Juman, 9, Maria, 8, Yaman, 7, Bisan, 5, and Yafa, 2. The entire family was killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted their home in Gaza on December 7, 2023.
