Walaa Sa'ad (al-Zari'i), Ritil, Abdullah, Tala, Yara, and Abd al-Rahman Samir Sa'ad

We mourn our martyrs: the martyr Walaa Sa'ad (al-Zari'i), my brother's wife, and her children: Ritil Samir Sa'ad (10), Abdullah Samir Sa'ad (8), Tala Samir Sa'ad (8), Yara Samir Sa'ad (6), and Abd al-Rahman Samir Sa'ad (two months). They were killed in the bombing of her family's home, the al-Zari'i family, in Deir al-Balah. To God belongs what He gives and to God belongs what He takes; our only consolation is that we will meet in Paradise.
Shock dwells in the pain and sorrow... Oh, the ache in my heart, where ache and sorrow have made their home. 17.10.2023... the day my wife Walaa and my children—Abdullah, Abd al-Rahman, Ritil, Tala, and Yara—departed. A sigh cannot express the pain, nor is it enough.
