For 15 years of their marriage, the Palestinian father Fadi al-Baba and his wife Wafaa al-Sweirki hoped to have children. Their dream came true on September 9th, when Wafaa gave birth to quadruplets—three boys and a girl: Khaled, Abdel-Khaleq, Mahmoud, and Maha. They were their parents' most precious treasure, the delight of their eyes, and the greatest reward for their 15-year wait.
The joy of the parents, family, and neighbors was immense, but the brutal Israeli occupation did not allow this happiness to last long.
