The infant girl was not yet one year old. Innocent and orphaned, she was not aware of her surroundings and saw only injustice and cruelty in this world. Surely, if she had grown up, she would have had many dreams and stories. Rana and her mother, Shaimaa Saleh, were killed in an Israeli bombing of the Tal al-Zaatar area on October 26, 2023.
