Ahmed Samih Abu Zayd

Ahmed had the innocence of a child, and a smile never left his face. He was always cheerful, loved swimming in the sea a great deal, and loved his family dearly. Hope always remained in his heart, despite the bitterness of the war, displacement, and destruction. His family was deprived of seeing him and his cheerful face, full of childhood and hope. Ahmed was killed alongside his cousin and friend, Yousef Ibrahim Abu Zayd, while they were trying to catch a glimpse of their city, which they had been prevented from seeing for four months.
