Dima al-Madhoun

Dima was born on August 3, 2012. She was a smart girl who excelled in her studies; every year, she received certificates of excellence and was among the top students at her school. Her hobbies were swimming and making beaded accessories. "Dima was very sweet and affectionate, and she was always special. She was very afraid of the sounds of the bombing. She once asked me: 'Mama, God forbid they bomb our house, what will happen to us?' I told her: 'May no harm come to you, Mama. God willing, only good things will happen.'"
