Al-Mu'tasim Billah Kamal Salman

Mu'tasim knew the Quran by heart. He was kind, affectionate, and humble toward everyone. He loved life, was brave-hearted, respected everyone, and everyone loved him for his good character. He was killed on Monday at the time of the afternoon (Asr) prayer. All of his brothers were injured, and by God's grace and care they miraculously survived, although their injuries were severe. Praise be to God in all circumstances.
