He was killed before he completed his second year. Maslama's arrival was a great joy for the family, as he came after six girls, and we awaited him with great anticipation. I counted the days and months, waiting to see my beautiful little child, until he was born on March 31, 2022. The family was overjoyed with him. I saw him in everything. I loved him so much, and as he grew older month by month, I became more and more attached to him. Although he has a sister two years older than him, who is also cherished, Maslama added a different flavor to life and to the family. Everyone was happy to see him walk, run, and play, and everyone who saw him loved him and played with him. Until that devastating war came and the days grew harder. Shells reached our area, and we were forced to flee to the south. We stayed there for a full month. I was so afraid for him and his sister, until it happened. Suddenly, without warning, we saw the house being destroyed, rubble scattering, and stones falling on us. All of us got out and were injured, except for Maslama. He was the only one who was killed instantly.
