Malak Juma'a Abdel Fattah al-Sha'arawi

Malak was born on June 19, 2012. Her family's roots go back to the village of Deir Sneid, whose residents were displaced in November 1948 and whose lands became occupied territory. Malak was beloved by her family and her father. She was passionate about drawing and artistic activities; she had dreams, ambitions, and ideas. The hateful enemy killed the child Malak, along with a large number of her family members and neighbors in Jabalia camp. Her smile and her victory sign remain eternal, a testament to the sacrifices of the Palestinian people.
