Hassan Farajallah

He knew the Quran by heart. His name, Hassan, which means 'good' or 'beautiful', reflected both his handsome appearance and his noble character. He pledged to adorn his mother with the 'crown of dignity' and so walked the luminous path of memorizing the Holy Quran. He had a resonant, powerful voice for reciting God's book, and served as an imam in the mosques, even at his young age. God made people love him, but God loved him more, and so Hassan was martyred, along with his father, his closest friend and cousin Ahmed, and his brother al-Baraa.
