Atef Muhammad al-Dabour

Atef knew the Quran by heart, was devoted to his prayers, and honored his parents. He loved life, was a loyal friend, and was beloved by all. He was killed while making his way with his family to the south of the Strip, after the occupation forced them to evacuate their home and move to what it called "safe areas." Their vehicle was bombed, and his father and grandfather were killed alongside him. I have never met a kinder or more tender heart than Atef's. He was known for his love of people and for the smile that never left his face. Nothing compares to the hours we sat together during Ramadan. And now Ramadan is here and I am without you. We will miss you dearly, my dear friend.
