Lama Muhammad al-Shaer

Lama was a student at the Martyrs of Rafah Elementary School for Girls, and was one of the best and most distinguished students in the city. She loved poetry and writing. Her friend recalls their last meeting, two days before the war, in their Arabic class. She says they were happy and laughing together. Lama had been planning to memorize the Quran, but the occupation stole her dream and killed her on October 22, 2023, and she became a martyr.
