Sali was an outstanding, well-mannered student who was dutiful to her parents. She was a special child, her mother's friend, obedient and responsible for her siblings. She had a quiet personality; she was beloved and kind—the flower of the house. She and her family were sheltering in the al-Mawasi area, which the occupation forces stormed. Sali was injured in the head. A tank was at the door of the house, so her father could not rescue her. He risked his life and transported her to a hospital in his private car, but her head injury was critical, and she was killed.
