Maryam Ra'ed al-Laddawi

She was very beautiful, with a captivating laugh. She loved life and sang its praises, and never knew boredom. She had dreams both vast and simple that suited her perfectly. She hoped the whole world would know her and that she would leave a lasting mark on society, but the occupation willed otherwise. She was killed along with her parents and two of her younger sisters.
