Abd al-Rahman al-Muqayed

In his 14 years, he lived a life of play and adventure, traveling the Gaza Strip from its north to its south. He was passionate, beloved, and sociable. He was nicknamed "al-shab al-naghsh" [the fun-loving young man] for his cheerful spirit and his love for life, and he was "the soul of the house," as his mother described him. The occupation forced his family to flee to Nuseirat, claiming it was a safe area. However, the criminal occupation bombed near their place of displacement, and he suffered burns all over his body. He tried to resist the pain, but God chose him, and he was martyred.
