Mariam Ibrahim al-Hasayneh

Maryouma, 4 years old, was the darling and spoiled one of the family, beloved by everyone. She was very smart and quick-witted, her parents' only child, and seemed older than her age. She loved her things a great deal. The last celebration in her family was for her birthday on November 1st, which was the sweet conclusion to their happy days. She was the life of the home and loved to dance. Mariam was the first grandchild of the eldest son in her father's family, and also the first grandchild in her mother's family; they never refused her a single request. She started kindergarten in September at al-Mutamayizoun ("The Distinguished") Kindergarten, but she did not get to complete her education. Her father and mother were loved by everyone, generous, and careful with their belongings. Everyone could attest to their kind-heartedness. They left a good memory behind them after they were gone, and everyone misses them and Mariam. Mariam was killed along with her mother, Lama, and her father, Ibrahim, in the al-Hasayneh family massacre on November 22, 2023.
