Suhaib Naji

"After you were gone, Suhaib, everything changed in my eyes. Every new morning that I don't see you, that I don't breathe in your beautiful scent, I feel as if the world has stopped turning and I am the only one left alive in it. I never imagined for a single moment that I would wake up and not find you in front of me." He was a very cheerful and very smart boy, committed to his prayers and to reading the Holy Quran. On the day he was killed, he left all the other children playing, sat in a corner of the house, and read the Juz' Amma [the final section of the Quran]. He always spoke of Paradise and how much he longed for it. He loved his father immensely, and they both ascended to the Most High as martyrs in the same minute, on October 23, 2023. The rest of the family members were injured. Suhaib was killed and left behind a mother who cries with longing for him. He was killed and left behind his five sisters. He was killed and left his brother Mus'ab alone. May God accept him and grant their hearts patience.
