Menna Ahmed Badwan

The youngest of her siblings, Menna was six years old and in the first grade. She was overjoyed to start school, but the war came first and killed that joy, breaking out about a month after the school year began. Her older brother, Ibrahim, was so happy when she was born. He says she was "the sugar cube of the house," the darling of the whole family. During the war, she was displaced from Shuja'iyya to her grandfather's house in Jabalia to be safe, but the occupation bombed a house next to theirs, so they were displaced once again to Deir al-Balah. She was killed along with her father, her brothers Ibrahim and Khalil, and her sister Tasnim on December 15, 2023. Menna saw nothing in her life but the occupation's criminality, its ugliness, and its aggression!
